Bonus Activity: Tour the UC Riverside Campus
STEM Summer Camp participants have the option of participating in tours of the UCR campus conducted by a CNAS Science Ambassador.
UCR is home to world-renowned scholars pursuing research that deepens our knowledge of the universe we live in and improves the quality of life for inhabitants of the state, the nation, and the world. Central to this research is educating the students who come to UCR to learn science, and who leave with an integrated grasp of how they can change the world. CNAS's mission is to transform lives through discovery, communication, translation, application, and preservation of knowledge.
The Science Ambassadors are undergraduate students who represent UCR to internal and external constituents. The Science Ambassadors are the face of the college and assist the school as a host during official functions, make presentations, and act as a student liaison with the various communities that CNAS serves both on and off-campus, with a particular emphasis on recruiting events and activities.
UCR tours will be scheduled for a single day this camp session, and we will update this website when that information has been confirmed.
Tours will be held on Friday at 4pm before the ceremony.
