Bonus Activity: Tour the UC Riverside College of Natural & Agricultural Sciences
STEM Summer Camp participants have the option of participating in tours of the College of Natural & Agricultural Sciences (CNAS) conducted by Science Ambassadors.
CNAS is home to world-renowned scholars pursuing research that deepens our knowledge of the universe we live in and improves the quality of life for inhabitants of the state, the nation, and the world. Central to this research is educating the students who come to CNAS to learn science, and who leave with an integrated grasp of how they can change the world. Our mission is to transform lives through discovery, communication, translation, application, and preservation of knowledge.
The Science Ambassadors are undergraduate students who represent CNAS to internal and external constituents. The Science Ambassadors are the face of the college and assist the school as a host during official functions, make presentations, and act as a student liaison with the various communities that CNAS serves both on and off-campus, with a particular emphasis on recruiting events and activities.
CNAS tours depart from Tomas Rivera Library at 4:00 PM at the end of each session. No additional sign-ups needed.
